Hawaiian Lesson 1

すごい!きちんとしたレッスン!所要時間1時間。

Lesson 1 のメニューは:

1. アルファベット(piapa) 、母音発音:AEIOU
  • okina = ' .... glottal stop のマーク (例) maikai (マイカイ) vs. maika'i (マイカッイ)
  • kanako = 長音記号 ... これがついた母音は長く伸ばしてストレスを置く (例) kala 魚の一種、kala (太陽)、kala (お金) 
2. Aloha! (Hello)
  • Aloha e Tutu. (Hello, Tutu)
  • Aloha kakahiaka. (Good morining)
  • Aloha awakea. (Good afternoon, 10:00-14:00... 陽が一番高いとき・真昼間)
  • Aloha 'auinala. (Good afternoon, 日没まで)
  • Aloha ahiahi. (Good evening)
3. Pehea 'oe? - Maika'i au. (How are you? - I'm fine thank you)
  • pehea .... how
  • 'oe .... you
  • au .... I
  • 'Oma'ima'i au.
  • Maluhiluhi au.
  • Hau'oli au.
  • Kaumaha au.
4. pololi (hungry), makewai (thirsty), pupuka (ugry), u'i (beautiful)
  • Pololi oe? (Are you hungry?) - Pololi au. (I'm hungry)
  • Makewai? (Are you thirsty?) - Makewai. (I'm thirsty)
5. 'O wai kou inoa? - 'O Elela ko'u inoa. (What's your name? - My name is Eleka)
  • wai = what
6. No hea mai 'oe? - No Halawa uka mai au. (Where're you from? - I'm from Halawa uka)
  • hea = where
